Problems with the day job...

So I don't want to sound whiny, but I am having problems at my job because I am "too pretty" what is this about? My whole life i was overweight, had bad skin, braces, glasses, frizzy hair, you name it. Now at my new job coworkers are treating me like crap and not acknowledging my efforts because they think I am just a pretty face and nothing else. Pin up style?

Whenever I have a "pin up" shoot, I always ask myself the same question; what exactly is pin up style? It seems to be such a wide range of things. Anything can really be called "pin up". I guess when I think of a specific style, I think back to the 40's and 50's. I think back to the Ava Gardner and Betty Grable days. They were the classics.

I hate over the shoulder shooting....

Ok lately ive been to more than a couple car shows. But i am very discouraged to go now. Its because of all the lookie lous. No its not cause of that hot ass sun that makes me go from tanned to purple. No its not cause there are too many people, so many that its impossible not have someone other than the model in my shot. hanging around in school, looking around at some webshops.. pretty booored, mostly tired. thursday means one lesson (international relationships) so right now i'm just waiting for my good-looking friend Becky Lee so we can join the tram in to town. we'll having a coffee or maybe a beer. then for tonight i'll see criminal minds at the tele and cook something for dinner. my life isn't that interesting..

Love Of Pin-Up

I have been a fan of pin-up since I saw a friends wall plastered with beautiful vintage pin up women.

I see Pin-Up as being in a complete league of its own. It's classy, sexy, artistic and timeless.

I love Pushing Daisies! I love everything about it. It has a great story line and it's so bright and colorful. One of my favorite parts has to be the wardrobe. They wear such amazing pieces. holy cow!

these past couple of weeks have been nuts! my art is on display (and for sale!!) in a funny little boutique called TOPS, it's on the back side of a tattoo shop. if any of you kids in Omaha want to go check it out..I wouldn't mind :)
