My dad (on the right) lived his teens and twenties in the 1950's. He left home at 11 and apprenticed to become an auto mechanic, specialising in panel beating and pinstriping. He was a bike man, though - still is - especially the British bikes. When he wasn't tearing around town, flying through bakery windows, over cemetery gates and convent walls, he played flamenco guitar for local dancers.
Midnight Mass has been booked for July 25th at Cal Expo. Last year was cool, this year will be even better. Don't be a square, come on out to the car show. It's a great place for networking. Here's just a little sample of the fun we all had out there.

The boy (my own personal long, tall Texan who misses his state immensely) and I are planning on moving to The Lone Star State sometime in the coming year, probably after the hot Arkansas summer can turn into a dreary, wet winter. My choice would be San Antonio (one of the most beautiful cities I have had the pleasure to visit) but Austin looks more likely since my cousin attends college there and the cost of living appears lower.
Any Texas ladies have any advice, suggestions, etc for… Continue

In my last blog I mentioned that you should buy yourself something to motivate you to wok out. Here is a fantastic option-the Sansa Clip.
This little MP3 player makes your workouts so much more enjoyable. you can now run on a treadmill without getting tangled up in cords, worrying about where you are going to put your iPod, having your iPod bounce around in your pocket or fall out, or have to watch whatever random things they have on the TVs at the gym!
This house, built in 1960 and offered for sale for the first time in 48 years, is practically a time capsule of the era. There's a TYPEWRITER in the office, fer chrissake! If you live, or want to live, in New Zealand, then snap this beauty up!…
It seems Tennessee isn't really panning out for me. After weeks of waiting for a phone call or email response and receiving nothing, I suppose that means they didn't think I would fit in with their agency.
Which is fine. I can't be bummed out about it. I've been rejected by MANY agencies. They're a tough crowd to please!! And, I can't blame them. The only thing they're thinking is dollar signs. And, if they don't think they'll make money off of me, then I don't want to be a part of… Continue

Today wasn't too busy for me. I had sent in a new pictorial update to Southern Charms and it went live today, hopefully tomorrow I'll have another one go live, since I aggravated myself with the FTP to get them to SC. ANYWAY, now that new pictures are up, here comes the fan mail. I always like fan mail, although sometimes it gets *strange.* If you were in the chat room when I was in there the other night, you'll know I have a fan who is into pony play. Well, imagine this, I got an email from… Continue

I've been sad forever that the lovelies at Agent Provocateur are always out of my size range. I guess my harvest is just too bountiful to be considered sexy. "Gross, yucky, big boobies in lace and ribbons and pretty fabrics? Get out of here, you manitee!" But not anymore! Their MATERNITY…Continue

This could be a splendid thing.
And what a surprisingly splendid thing. I've never had this happen quite this way before.
And oh how disappointing it will be if I'm wrong about this...
Oh but this could be so cool! I feel like sunshine and coral and icecream and paintings - does that make sense? Bursts of color and radiance and sweetness...
I need to focus, and not get too head over heels. I have a tendency to throw myself into an obsession when what I really… Continue

I just got back tonight from Indianapolis. Omg! It was a crazy 2 days!!
I left work yesterday, telling a little white lie to my boss so that she would call someone else in to work for me since Aveda had called me VERY last-minute to let me know they wanted me in the shoot.
So, with my bags already packed I was bookin' it all the way up there, despite the ice storm and the idiot drivers.
The group of stylists and makeup artists were sooooo nice! And the… Continue
