Hair/Makeup Artist I will be in Chicago for Fangoria Weekend of Horrors!

This weekend my lovely friend Boneyard Betty & I will be in Chicago for the Fangoria Horror Convention......Weekend of Horrors! I am looking forward to a fun-filled, horror movie filled weekend! Toronto Burlesque Festival 2009

So. TBF 2009. I am excited!



I'll be taking part in the Art Bra Auction again this year. My mind is already teeming with ideas! I've also decided to design a line of Manuge et Toi pasties and fascinators to present at the festival, and (hopefully!) I will have a merch table of some sort there, as well...

New Invisible Surfers CD On Temp. Hold

The new Invisible Surfers CD entitled Till That Day is on temporary hold while we rework the submasters. Seems guitarist Alex found a little skip that missed our mastering editors ears. The little skip is not in the master files, but ended up on one of the submaster burn copies, that went to the pressing plant. This pushes the official release back until April 2009. I had somewhat of a shitty morning yesterday and although I was lucky enough to be cheered up by one of my favorite people EVER, it put me in a bit of a rebellious mood. I decided I was going to treat myself to a nice relaxing evening. The 'old man' was coming home late so it was just the kids and I and it was a beautiful sunny day just right for a BBQ. Ain't She Sweet~ Barbie Turns 50!

Hard to believe but that plastic dream girl, Barbie, turns 50 this month, after making her first debut in March of '59! The original pinup- at least, the original pinup doll, has proven over the years that everyone still prefers blonds! Bad news for us redheads.
