Hair Help!

So, Im getting ready for a fresh new summer look, but Im torn between two kinds of hairstyles.
1. Black, with Blond streaks on both sides of my head
or
2. Copper Red (Soda Shop Sue's Color) with some blond, I havent decided where yet.

What to do with my hair......

Ok, so my hair is pretty long. I haven't cut it in almost 3 years. Well, I've done the usual maintenance but I haven't done anything fun. Anybody have any suggestions. Should I cut it? If I do, what would look good? Should I color it? If so, what color(s)? I'm pretty bored with my hair right now and to be completely honest.....I would rather shave my head and not deal with it. HAHA

I think my sewing machine is haunted. . .and I can't cut this fabric. . .

Ok so I think my sewing machine is haunted. . . or maybe its just mad at me for neglecting it these last few months because it just starts moving without me touching it or even being near it. . . .

The thing about shooting pin-ups...

Okay, it's kind of funny to me that I have been so focused on pinup photography recently. My photographic style, my heroes, and my "usual" aesthetic don't really lend themselves to the genre, on the face of it. I am all about Hurrell, classic "Hollywood Glamor", and black and white photography:

A silly little thing that makes me happy.

I'm a big fan of collecting vintage...well, just about anything. As is my Very Bestest Friend In The Whole Wide World, who is currently in town. (Whoop!, right there off the bat). When we're in each other's cities, we go to as many thrift and antique stores as we can reasonably handle. It's a bit of a drag for whomever of us is the visitor, because our purchases are limited by luggage space, but perhaps that just makes us more thoughtful buyers.

Hot Rod Monster Film Festival Selection

Made all the selections for our Hot Rod Monsters Film Festival this weekend. So I'm sitting outside Saturday and Sunday on a big blanket with my wife, enjoying our rental house and the Seattle weather (for once).
