Kevin Smith Fest! Finally some fun!

Finally something nice happens! I got to meet Kevin Smith at Bloor Cinema last night! I even talked to him..well I really just asked him a couple of questions standing at a microphone while he stood on stage making jokes at my expense..and I laughed like a retard because I was so nervous! But he did eventually answer my questions seriously. : )
And I gave him a print of a painting I did..it's of a chick laying on a tiki..hope he doesn't think that's too weird. And I put ALL my contact info on the back in case he wants to hire me to work on one of his films in the future. Yes, I'm desperate!!
Worse that can happen is he thinks I'm a crazy fan..
He was so funny in person..it just seems to be natural for him to make up one liners. After I gave him the print he said something like "I feel like I already met you last night.."
Everyone laughed and I just nodded with a big grin on my face. I wish I had something witty to say but I couldn't come up with anything. Oh well...
And after I went out to a bar (kinda goth) where they played some Cramps in remberence of Lux Interior. And of course I geussed the song title of a Cramps song and won a free CD. Boo yaa! Bonus! So I finally has some fun! : )
Can't wait to meet Edgar Wright (director of Shaun of the Dead) at Bloor Cinema later this month.

Oh and the movie I saw was "Clerks" a classic movie!
