Hi to all my gorgeous Pin Ups girls!
Vivien of Holloway is happy to announce that we have added more patterns and sizes for all our 1950s wiggle skirts
You heard me! I said wiggle! Believe me, you will be wiggling when you strut your stuff if you wear one of our lovely Pencil Skirts.
We have loads of different tartans and plain colours. So the only problem you will have is deciding which one to buy!…

Had a screen test with the talented Amy Escobar yesterday for the Rat Rod Rockers part for Danielle. We will make a decision on who gets the part next week.

If I could build/buy a strip mall? It would be crazy.
Just think of the fun I could have with interesting shops all in a row. A mecca I tell you!

I just finished up the title theme for our new feature film Rat Rod Rockers. The actual music is based on a punk song called What Red Humor that I wrote back in the early 1980s and performed with my hardcore band Xijix all around SoCal. I recycled it in the 1990s changing the lyrics and and title to Joy Ride. It was released under a side project I had at the time called Kardboard. For this latest incarnation of the song I went with a jangly Telecaster tone for the basic guitar tracks, then…

Okay, so I'm with Virgin Mobile *pauses for any snickering* and my old phone got recalled by LG.. So I get my new one today, activate it online and go into my account page through my phone's browser to re-download my ringtones from my other phone (for free of course).. This is where it gets interesting..
I go into the "My Locker" section where they should all be listed with a convinient "download now" link.. But instead of my ringtones I have listed.. And I quote:
"Hardcore…

Just signed up. Found out about this site via a group on SG. I am a stylist who works for a foot fetish website.
Cleaning out the car and pad. Today's most interesting event was the receipt of two spicy bratwursts from a meat market I write signs for. mmmm.... gonna pass these onto the boyfriend for further analysis.

…or “this is why your not on the list”.
Crystal Precious is one of my best friends and favorite people on the planet. As the drive from Medford OR was 12 hours long and there wasn’t much to write about and this is very relevant to all party promoters and goers, I figured I’d repost this for everyone else to enjoy. Listen closely children, and she shall tell you a tale…

(That cold finally caught up with me. I'm still smiling, though!)
1. My favorite animal is the giraffe. They are goofy, awkward and graceful all at the same time. They are unique and strange and wild. A bit like how I see myself, I guess.
2. I was a choir geek. I love to sing and I love music. I grew up in a musical family. My mom's dad played bluegrass on the fiddle and banjo and my grandma on my dad's side plays piano and sings. My dad was a choir teacher for 20 some…

Okay, I had a little fun today. It was a lovely 70+ day here in Chicagoland, a bit unheard of for March. So I got out, did some drawings, and took a lot of photos. I even managed to snap a couple of me!
For those waiting on the car pictures from last week, I'm working on it.... I took 748 pictures, that does takes a bit to sort through and have fun with.

Baltimore burlesque grows up, with the help of a little girl and her monkey

It's show time at Load of Fun on North Avenue, and a sold-out crowd files into the black box theater, lingering for a moment at the table in back to pick up a glass of wine or a can of beer before grabbing one…

Coming to perform at Portland is kind of like having numerous dates with someone you should theoretically be crazy about because they’re your type, but ultimately wind up parting ways with while being indifferent to. The scene in Portland is quite ripe with people who should be into what we do between the music and the burlesque. We always seem to draw the same small (supportive) crowd but have trouble luring others out to the show. It may because we usually play on Sunday in Portland which, at…

I was contacted by our local paper, Houston Chronicle because they are doing a peice on Pin Ups in our area!! This is so wonderful! The reporter is super sweet and we had a nice chat about vintage pinups and how it relates to modern pin up photography, my inspiration and just the scene as a whole! It's been really great to express my passion with someone and that its going to be in the paper! We did a shoot on Friday which went really well and they will be attending a photo shoot with me to get…

(I have to admit I'm embarrassed by my posts over the last few days. I'd like to say that I have a good reason for the increased level of immaturity but I don't really have one. Oh, well... moving on.....)
Since the kiddos have been sickly (sick kids=no admittance into gym daycare) AND the weather has been SO delicious, I started jogging outside more than I have in quite awhile. I usually do three miles at the gym on the treadmill but I did four one day this week and on…
