A First for Me!

Well, I've been posing as a pinup for just shy of a year now, but I haven't really treated it as anything more than a sporadic hobby for the benefit of my friends, and I don't have a lot of shoots under my belt. "It was beautiful in Longmont. Under a tremendous old tree was a bed of green lawn-grass belonging to a gas station. STILL tired (Sooooo tired, part II)

I make it to my 9am call on time, with a 4-shot nonfat latte in hand. Artificially alert, I am ready to face the shoot. All of the models are on time. Staggering, perhaps, but not staggered. Okay, well, there's going to be a lot of waiting around while the special effects MUA works her magic on FIVE gals and one token guy. Sooooo Tired!

I spent the last 15 (!) hours helping my friends decorate their house for next weekend's Halloween party (we're maybe a little more than halfway done), and I have to be on set for a last-minute shoot at 9am! If I go to bed RIGHT NOW, I'll be able to squeeze in 6 hours of sleep. Thank goodness I already packed my gear! I wonder if the MUA will mind if I doze while she works? ;)

Fame & Fortune!

Well, maybe not so much. But I rec'd a text message on my phone today, letting me know that I showed up in the January issue of Ol' Skool Rods! Of course, I ran right out and bought a copy. It turns out to be an older shot, and I'm not looking my best... but still! It counts for something, right?

The best part of the whole thing is that it was an ex-boyfriend who sent the text. Heh-heh.
