A First for Me!

Well, I've been posing as a pinup for just shy of a year now, but I haven't really treated it as anything more than a sporadic hobby for the benefit of my friends, and I don't have a lot of shoots under my belt. After a LOT of prodding from the photographers I've worked with, and the friends who have seen the shots, I decided to take things more seriously. So, I put up a MySpace page and built a ModelMayhem profile. Shortly thereafter, I joined everyone here on PL, and the community has just been SO fantastic and encouraging. I have a new shoot scheduled in a little over a week, and I'm looking forward to it like crazy! I hope to some day be able to show off some snazzy clothes or accessories for some of the great designers out there, or to act AS an accessory to some beautiful hot rods!

My news o' the day, though, is that I am entered in the Pinup Vixens contest for Miss November! I am beside myself with excitement, because it's my first contest. There are a lot of beautiful girls in the mix with me, and I know there's a statistical chance that I won't win... but I would be so very pleased if I did! I don't think there's a "prize," outside of being able to say that I won, but their store sells such cute stuff (hair flowers, vintage hats, branded Ts, etc) that it would be an honor to be associated with them in any way.
