Evil Dead!
During the scene where Ash had the chainsaw in the shed, about to cut up his girlfriend, he actually had to use a real chainsaw, holding it up to the actress' chest. You can see on the close-up of Linda's neck (looking at the necklace) that her pulse is racing.

In Nightmare on Elm Street, the prop department used over 500 gallons of blood for Glenn's death scene...
...that's right, blood. Not fake blood. They used over 500 gallons of real cows blood.

It's been awhile folks. I know it, you know it.
I've been slowly working on some projects lately. Building a portfolio, which includes rotating and cropping several photos. I've moved in with the bf and we have a huge move at the end of this month where I officially quit my old apt and make his place mine and not just his, lol.
I was laid off in March from my job of 3 years. It was extremely hard as they were like family to me. I've used the time off to take the break I…

Thanks to Scott for documenting our ascent as a marquee act...
So people have been coming to me and asking me what of the differences between European and North American crowds. I think that this may have less to do with my observations and perhaps more to do with a chance to stare at my chest while engaged in conversation. I may be a trifle cynical in my reaction, but if my opinion IS being solicited then I do have some…

The Birds!
A group of crows is called a murder.
A group of vultures circling in the air is called a kettle.... slightly less threatening, no?

well...it's growing out...and i sort of miss my long hair. the problem is that i've been trying different places to find someone i trust enough...(and apparently someone who can read my mind about what i want because most of my pictures incorporate some…

Decapitation was introduced as a legal method of execution in England in 1076 by William the Conqueror. His first victim? Earl Waltheof, brother-n-law to the Conqueror, was executed for conspiracy to murder the King.

O.K. What would be you're idea of the most awesome rockabilly joint you can think of? Would you have burlesque daily? What kind of car club functions would you have? What would be the decor? How would you promote to get the word out to as many of us as you could?(Besides the obvious P.L. channels) What would the Ideal spot be for our people to network, meet, rock out, eat, get new ideas, new fashion, new hair tips? We are in the early stages of…

Last Friday I did an 8 hour session with Matt Hays aka Mr. Red. He was visiting from CO with Betty Red and took the time out of their trip to spend a whole day tattooing. I love my new tattoo, and just a week later, I'm all healed up. I can't wait for Matt to come back and do my next one.…

I was checking out my friend's blogs on Live Journal today mostly because there's nothing good on television and also because I'm nosey. I came across on one of the community posts an old 60's ad featuring a mermaid hawking a product called Groom And Clean... You can see it here.
The product promises to groom a gentleman's hair making it grease and dandruff free, while also styling it. It has convincing product demos of how it mixes it water and how much of a dandy it will make you.…
