Model Birthday trip

Last weekend was my birthday trip to Disneyland and we had a blast! It wasn't crowded, and we went on everything we wanted to with hardly any lines. Just wanted to share that I love spending my bday there, and can't wait for the next trip in March!

sewing this weekend

I'm loving the fact that it's going to be chilly this weekend. Something about sewing when it's overcast gives me a sense of home.



I remember being a little girl and my mom deciding it was time to sew. Going to the fabric store to pick out a pattern, feeling the fabric and looking to see which buttons are going to finish the job were always a magical time for me. Each fabric told a different story. THe good and the bad...

Other then the mistake of wearing pumps for ten hours of doing hair today was all and all pretty good...I haven't had a day with clients that were so wonderful and cheerful ever!

It was actually fun...

I'm wondering if burger king knows the ink on their cups, although it does not stick to the cup, it does not wash off of my hands...dammit

Model My first photo shoot... EVER!

Thanks to my very good friend Dawn Crosby, I had my first photo shoot, ever. I was nervous and had plenty of reservations about the whole thing but it turned out to be LOADS of fun!! She is a FANTASTIC photographer and we were both so pleased with the way our pictures turned out. We did the shoot at Red Rocks Ampitheatre and it was such a lovely day.... I couldn't have asked for a better first experience! Can't

Lights out

So they cut the electricity (including heat and gas) in my house...in the middle of January, in the middle of a VERY cold winter. I live with my mom, her boyfriend and my brother. After years of living with roommates in Vancouver I thought that coming back home would make my life easier. It's been almost the complete opposite.

My mom works two jobs and she still can't afford to pay all the bills. I have to pay rent in order to help them make payments.

Michelle Obama's Inaguration Dress- RANT OF THE DAY

I am sorry.. but.. I could have made her a MUCH more attractive custom dress for MUCH less.. That thing was unattractive and would've made anyone look frumpy. It was NOT a knock off of Nancy Reagan's gown.. it was just an overdone mistake. Something that is going into the Smithsonian that reflects our 44th president's wife, our generation, our sensibility.. and it looks like that.
