Eyelash conditioners?

Has anyone tried one? I've noticed some breakage and I need something! I used Talika's Lipocils before, but don't have the $40 to buy it again. Has anyone had luck with a drugstore brand?

I personally wouldn't use any of the products out there to grow lashes because of the fact that  the active ingredient is the same thing they use to treat glaucoma which my mom has and uses yes her lashes look fantastic but her eyelids and rims look like she uses red eyeshadow :(  and takes a really good concealer in layers to cover it up.

I use DHC Eyelash Tonic once or twice a week and have really good luck with it.  It's not a growth formula, just a conditioner, and it's not very expensive.  You can find it here http://www.dhccare.com/DHC/ProductDetail.aspx?ProductID=71

Actually, Talika and several other brands are 100% natural and don't use that chemical. But some drugstore brands might.

Just good old 100% pure jojoba oil, nautral, gentle way to remove your eye makeup (especially lash glue/thick liner) and helps to condition lashes and moisturize the sensitive tissue around your eye area. Plus, major bonus, it's about $5 a bottle at places like Trader Joe's. 

Also try switching to new mascara for a while, most have terribly damaging chemicals, but some are definitely not as havoc wreaking as others.

Good ol' olive oil - just a wee bit will do ya.  And when removing make-up, be gentle on your eyes.  No need to vigorously rub!

I use vasaline to take off my eye makeup but it also leave my eyelids and lashes soft too.  I have never even heard of eyelash conditioner before either,  hope this helps!

I'm with Frankie - I use jojoba oil too.  It removes eye makeup and conditions the lashes.  I tried olive oil and its nice too, but a little to heavy for my oil prone skin.

hmmm I might have to check out the jojoba oil for eyemake up removal. I try as much as I can to use more natural things for daily wear i use arbonne's makeup which is natural botanical for shows or photoshoots I will use other products.
