"We Are The New Vintage"

I love my capris, turn ups and pencil skirts but my major problem is my 34" inside leg. What fits most women is just too short on me! It's so annoying!
ps: On the winter front, heavy duty 'hand knitted' jumper (the sort your Granny knitted for Christmas) is always a winner for me. Ooh and a nice thick lumberjack jacket! I got my newest one for £25!

I have to say I'm more of your checked shirt and turn up jeans kinda girl on the everyday.
Me too!!!! What am I gonna do when it starts snowing? Oh, thats another whole topic!
But trying to stay ON topic, I'm a late 40's early 50's, circle skirt halter dress, capris and tees, pencil skirt, cardigan kinda girl. ;-)
My style varies from day to day, really, although I usually tend to stick to bright and colorful articles of clothing and such. Although I have my "dark days", I really like being a walking ray of sunshine.
I love mixing up modern chic with 50's glam. As much as I love going strictly retro, I often find I'll receive more "Katie Perry" remarks when doing so. Go figure.
"poor you" with the exquisite long legs LOL. I will say that I proudly have the same problem. My issue with being a tall girlie is that I cant find good vintage or retro shoes that actually fit. Women must have been TINY back then !
