Hello, hello!

Hello, hello! My name's Coco and I'm an ex-plus size model turned freelance wardrobe stylist and Marilyn Monroe impersonator; and I work part-time at a vintage clothing store in Montrose, Houston, Texas. I have a passion for vintage fashion, burlesque, costuming, and I love that what I do combines all three of them!

I'm a vintage-loving gal and blogger living in Houston! I love ska, swing, and rap, as well as classic rock and country. I enjoy all things artsy and retro, I dig vintage hairstyles, I love vintage prom dresses, swimwear and lingerie, and I have a thing for trombone players.

I just thought it would be cool to post a few fun fact about myself is all. So...here goes! =D



1. I was actually born in Las Vegas, Nevada.

2. I recently received rave reviews for my role as Adelaide in "Guys & Dolls"

3. My favorite film of all time is Mr. Peabody and the Mermaid.

4. I dressed up as (and impersonated) Marilyn Monroe for an oral biography report in middle school.

Hey chicky poo. Actually, i live in Vallejo now, but I commute to Carmichael. I go to the California Institute of Jewelry Arts, so I am there roughly 5 days a week. As far as midnight mass goes, I don't think I will be able to this year, I have a few passion parties booked that get in the way of the festival. I'll try, but, I don't know if its possible yet.
