My dad - 1950's

My dad (on the right) lived his teens and twenties in the 1950's. He left home at 11 and apprenticed to become an auto mechanic, specialising in panel beating and pinstriping. He was a bike man, though - still is - especially the British bikes. When he wasn't tearing around town, flying through bakery windows, over cemetery gates and convent walls, he played flamenco guitar for local dancers.

My new favourite place to be!

So far, I have avoided the social networking phenomenon. MySpace, FaceBook, even twitter have held very little appeal for me. Gave tribe a whirl... I used to blog like a demon, for years, but then even that lost its appeal.
