repeating shows or rotating acts????

HI I need anyones input....
ive been doing burlesque and variety performance for some time usually there was a big gap between performances..... but the group im in now .. the Red Light Variety show has been doing great selling out shows and been getting asked to do more... so far weve had two this year as a group.

so my Question is.... if we have one show a month, (mostly in boise for now) what do other performers suggest doing to keep audiences happy but still using some of the same numbers...... ( we cant all afford to buy new costumes as often ws we'd like) otehr wise new acts wouldnt be as hard....

weve heard some shows only change 30 % of the show every 6 months but they are on tour>..... we plan to move forward and out of boise shows....

what do you all suggest is best ?? we just had one show and have another in 2 weeks.. we want to make some money with out having to spend much and we have two shows under our belts. we did copy some acts, from our first to our second but had mostly new stuff....

ofcourse there is always the blogger who blogs about everything and mentions that it was similar to our other show......le sigh... what does a burlesque performer do??

How many acts do you guys have? If you have a few then you could cycle through them. Four acts means you could go a wile before repeating one. Or how about making small changes to your costumes? Or adding new props?

But really, if people like your act, and they enjoy it, then hopefully they won't mind seeing it more then once.

we have 12 performers. and a two hour show im not sure on how many,.... each set is one hour approx. maybe like six numbers in each hour or something...

yeah i guess its always that one person with a negative who brings down the all the positive notes and responses weve gotten....but any other ideas are helpful!

hmmm, im a complpete novice at the running of shows but wot if u guys started making costumes... that way u cud come up wid new stuf.... find cheap ways to re-decorate stuff u all ready have... or go to craft shops n get ceatuve with adding nw pieces or making new stuff.... i understand costumes can b expensive but the mor eu make stuff the more variety u could get????
