Don't freak out on yourself if you eat to much Halloween candy. It is one day, just don't do it tomorrow. There is nothing worse than someone "breaking their diet" once and then feeling guilty and saying "to hell with it" and pigging out the next day and the next day and the next day...

One tip is to eat as much cinnamon as you can today! It helps stabilize blood sugar and will help you from crashing if you do eat a ton of sugar. Cinnamon in your coffee, on peanut butter, in your cereal, with some apple slices. You would be surprised how great cinnamon goes with most things. You only need a tablespoon or so to do the trick for the whole day.

Moral of the story is-
If you go overboard don't feel guilty!!! Just get back to normal tomorrow. Don't starve yourself, that will only be worse. You are human, it's okay to splurge every now and then. NEVER EVER ASSOCIATE FEELINGS OF GUILT WITH FOOD. That is how you become overweight.

I'll post a whole blog about cinnamon it is amazing and used for diabetics to help them, but it can help everyone, it helps slow the "hit" of sugar to the bloodstream. Which actually is important to fat storage and how you feel. If you add it to a high glycemic food, it will help lowoer its glycemic index.
