Although I have been eating sensibly (cutting out snacks), I still haven't started a "formal diet" and looking at it I just can't see that I will be able to fit in getting to a diet club around my job. But the other option, an online diet, doesn't appeal - it seems very expensive and I've been reading some very mixed reviews for pretty much all of them.
At the moment, especially as I am still snowed in, I am wondering about doing something a friend of mine is doing... I know it sounds unhealthy, but actually all her reasoning makes sense... basically she is not eating one day a week. We were talking about this the other day, only a few days after reading a magazine article who did exactly the same thing. Hmmm... we'll see... I'm not 100% on this, I'm gonna give it a bit more thought...
In regards to burlesque I am now quite happy with the two routines I have been putting together, but was still feeling slightly held back by not feeling as into it as I think I should be. Partly because I have only ever seen burlesque as a bit of a hobby and something I would only do locally, with no plans to become the next big thing. The only problem is that's left me feeling a bit despondent and that I'm going nowhere. But things have turned around a little... my friend, burlesque performer
Ally Katte, recommended I give Ministry of Burlesque a go... I had already looked at it a few times last year but hated the forum setup and found it very jarring. But I went ahead and signed up, spent sometime this weekend getting familiar with it and I've started to get used to it, and more importantly I've read and replied to some great and helpful threads.
This has made me feel much more part of things and like it's all going somewhere. I highly recommend it to other burly peeps!
As for the coconuts - I think that's been taken care of -
