Okay , I am a personal trainer and teach yoga and cardio kickboxing i addition to my day job and modeling. Soooo here is the Reader's Digest version of who I am. I was overweight my whole entire life. My mom had 2 heart attacks in one summer a few years ago and that inspired me to get off of my butt and not end up like her. So in one summer I lost 20 lbs by working out and eating right. I didn't have a fancy gym, I worked out at home to DVDs and had a stability ball and a few sets of dumbbells from Target. I cannot believe how much my life has changed since then. Starting that was a catalyst for a lot of positive life changes. I got out of a bad relationship, I gained self-confidence, I moved, restarted my life and started modeling and helping others with their fitness goals. So I am going to have a fitness blog now and anyone who wants to ask me any questions can get personalized help for free, whether it is about what to eat or how to exercise or what to do, or just some motivation, I'm here to help. I'll also post cool food finds and the like. So feel free to ask me questions or check back to see what secrets I'm giving away :)

I hope it's a given that a small female 50s style belly is a beautiful thing? The fitness blog idea rules!!!

It's great to see a fitness blog, especially when most pinup models are very tiny gals. I would love to be a few sizes smaller. I am 5'4'' and 200 pounds. Lately I've gained 10 pounds after starting an exercise program in my school. I hope to lose about 40 or so pounds by the beginning of summer. I too, have asthma, and a few other health problems that make working out harder (carpal tunnel in both wrists, acid reflux, and joint pain). It's hard to get going, but once you start you just can't stop.
Thanks for the information and help dear.
x's and o's.

I'm also like Kimmee. I have had asthma since I was a child and have had to be put on steroids at least once a year when I have severe attacks. Doesn't help when your trying to lose weight lol.

Thanks for starting a fitness blog! I'm a nurse, so after being on my feet 8 hours or more a day, it's really hard to come home and workout! My main problem area is my core...it runs in the family! Even when I was going to the gym a few years back, I was down to an 8, I had that little potbelly! Arrrgh!

3 years ago I was diagnosed with asthma and put on steroids for a severe attack...that bulked me up about 20 lbs. But I have been eating better and shedding the weight slowly with lots of water, organic foods, perfect food supplements, protein shakes for breakfast.

So now I have a mini trampoline, hand dumbells, a balance ball with DVD's... and Hurricane Ike swept away the rest of my motivation...so I'm looking forward to getting back on track! Thanks again!

oo This is awesome! I'm actually on a diet right now. My mom is overweight and is constantly in the hospital with an issue that is caused by it. And since I also wanted to lose weight we both went on diets. Everything has to be low sodium. The only problem is, I can't find much that really is low sodium. It really sucks and I've never been a big cook, even though I like to, so I don't know a lot of healthy foods and recipes.
I love having the workout dvds and doing those. I can never do working out completely on my own because I get too bored with it.
One of the hardest things for me to give up was soda. I practically lived on it. But now that Im drinking so much water, I feel a ton better. I haven't been able to really work out because my room is full of moving boxes and somewhere in those are my older workout dvds. But I do want to get some more.
I'm very sure that I will love reading your blogs. I can't wait to see what your going to write about!
