My Name is Kim and i am currently a fashion design student working on getting my bachelor's degree. I decided to start Krafty Kitten in September of 2007 after a failed first attempt in 2005 to start the business. I design,draft,cut and sew all the clothing myself. I also make hairclips,tote bags, make up bags, and jewelry. I am inspired by rockabilly, psychobilly, punk,pin ups,old cars, dia de los muertos, virgen de guadalupe, cholas,rock n roll, bettie page, marylin monroe.

*** I ONLY WORK WITH LOCAL MODELS. sadly, i have had too many bad experiences with long distance models keeping my merchandise and never sending me photographs :( so because of this i only work with local models that i can meet in person. my boyfriend(flathead fotos) takes all my pictures for me now and i plan(and style) the photo shoots. I also no longer lend out garments to long distance photographers for the same reason being that i never get the pictures and they keep my stuff. i work too hard to be ripped off by dishonest people. I do have a couple of models though that i absolutely trust and are long distance and those are the only ones i trust. * i also understand that this cuts off a lot of great talented and honest models so i do offer a model's discount to any girl that wants to model my items in exchange for a picture or 2. I also offer discount's for photographers and rental prices for my clothing if you are a local photographer.

    Thank you Kim! That would be fun to do some modeling for your clothes line. Those ladder photos are my fav too. That was my first time having a photo shoot and I must say I'm hooked! :O) I had so much fun doing it. My next shoot I would love to do more Rockabilly style maybe with an old car.     Thanks ;) Without blowing my own trumpet, they are actually better than the photos........I can't keep my teenage daughter still enough to model them!!........so the mannequin has to do.......hard to get the photos right because they are semi translucent :(
