"We Are The New Vintage"

I've definitely heard some pretty scary horror stories about them too. But, I also know a girl who is an SG and hasn't complained although she isn't really pursuing modeling outside of what she does for them. I guess my thing is that I heard they are very hard to deal with when you want to network yourself as a model outside of their network. You will be deemed a SG from then on. It depends on what your intentions as a model are. Do you want to freely pursue your own thing or do you want to be an SG and get more promotion? I read a long time ago about a girl who wanted to do Gods Girls too and SG threatened to sue since she was going to represent their major competitor. I've also heard that once you quit and want to be expunged from SG all together they don't remove your profile so they can continuously make money off of you. Which means if you change your mind down the road you STILL are going to be considered an SG. I don't know how much of that is true but, I would do some MAJOR research before making any other decisions.
I was going to post a similar topic, you beat me to the punch.
I heard about SG when I was 16 and I checked it out and had decided that when I was 18 I would apply. I heard both good and bad things about the site, from formal SG's and current SG's, so I was iffy about it. I talked to a photographer friend of mine who used to shoot for them and he told me the contract were basically a load of bs. I took the time to really consider it and decided not to go through with it.
All I know about them is that they turned down my totaly awesome friend roxi because she was too heavy! Roxi had a bone structure to die for, her lips were perfect and she had loads of cool tatts and pierings to boot. so I dont know , i like what I see when i see them but im not sure about their ethics/politics
