ever have some one come up to you and ask you if "that hurt" weather it be a tattoo or a piercing... and what was your reaction... i have both so i get it alot some one asked me once did that hurt on your chest? and i replyed NO never i love it when people repeatedly drag needles accross my chest till i bleed... lol

For a while I played the Nice Guy and honestly answered the question.

Then I decided to mess with people, either telling them 'No' and watching their faces twist with surprise, or being the a****** that talked them out of ever wanting a tattoo or piercing by telling them it was incredibly painful.

Avoiding social contact lately, so I haven't been asked in a long time. These days, depending on who it is and how the question is posed will determine whether I give the honest answer or the a****** one. ;)

This one time, I was sitting in the chair at my (old) local tattoo parlor. I was getting a piece finished up on my right arm. Pretty much shoulder to elbow... lots of color and fine line work.
While I was sitting there, these three high school girls came be-bopping in. They sit down in the waiting area right in front of me and spend a good ten minutes watching me,wincing in pain.
One of the girls looks me straight in the eye, pops her gum, and says; "Does that really hurt?"

Now... I wanted to be a tough guy and tell her something witty and cool, but I came back with; "Kiddo... there isn't one place on your body where this s*** doesn't hurt. Some places just hurt more than others."

She looks at her two friends, they all get up, and walk out the door.

Nate (the guy doing my work) was a little pissed, sighting that he could have made $150 bucks by tattooing "Hello Kitty" on the top of her foot...

Sorry Nate... but yeah, this s*** hurts! : )

people used to ask it all the time when i had my nipples pierced (i was a dancer then -ballet, tap, jazz, etc-, and when you're tiny and have little body fat, bras aren't really necessary)... that question used to crack me up... i used to ask, "does it hurt when you pinch it?" and they'd answer yes. "then i guess you answered your own question."

i normally just pull on my piercings and say no... for some reason nothing creeps someone out more than pulling my lip down by the ring... i've just been asked too many time and make it fun.... and i lie about what my tattoo's say... and just say something ridiculous

I have ppl ask bout my tattoos and spaced ears all the time.
I cant help popping out my spacers, putting my finger through the h*** an pulling on my ear lobe just to see ppls reactions. Then asking them what they f*ing think.
I put tattoos down to sunburn pain its not so bad till you get in a hot shower.
If ppl seem genuinly interested im nice about it, Otherwise I just give some smart arsed comment.

i usually reply with, it depends which part of your body. My finger tattoo hurt like a thousand bee stings at once, but it only lasted for 4 minutes or so. My sleeve, well it smarts in some places, inner wrist and inner elbow, but mostly it was pretty nice!

id rather have a 4 hour tattoo session than one piercing, i hate having piercings done!
