I must report sadly that the ground bacon burger was not a success.
The outside of the bacon cooked too quickly.
Next week I will try broiling the patty instead.
I will overcome any obstacle.

Also: pan fried hotdogs can ONLY be fried using butter. And garlic, and cayenne pepper.

Would the magically insulating powers of batter prevent the outside from cooking too fast? Works for sweet potatoes...

By Jove I think the lady's got it.
Battering will keep the outside from burning and battering keep all the water vapor inside and steams the food and cooks it at a higher temp without burning.
