I am going to New York in february and since burlesque is what I live for, ofcourse I want to experience the best burlesque New York has to offer! Which clubs should I check out? Which shops do you recommend? Tell me all:D!!

Hey Doll! As a New York performer I'd say to go the Slipper Room for SURE! Also google Brooklyn Ed's Burlesque page http://www.edbarnas.com/Burlesque/calendar/index.htm  and see what's on the calendar the week before you come up. He updates it weekly, just click on the day of the week. There are so many amazing performers here. Kitty Nights is great if you're here on a Sunday night and keep your eyes peeled for Harlow's Hide-A-Way, Honi Harlow's monthly show!  Also, grab a one hour class at The New York School of Burlesque from Jezebel Express, Jo Weldon, Gal Friday, Darlinda Just Darlinda, or Peekaboo Pointe.  Even Dirty Martini teaches sometimes... all are amazing teacher's and dancers.
