If You Like Big Bundts, and Cannot Lie...

November 15th is National Bundt Cake Day.  And for the past 2 years, a blogger called The Food Librarian has asked bakers to share photos and recipes of the Bundt cakes they bake that day, which she then posts in a gallery on her blog.

 

My sister and I just missed participating last year but this year we are ready to go.  And I thought to myself, Bundt is about as retro as a cake can get, wouldn't it be cool if a bunch of PL'ers joined in the fun, and added a little PL logo to their cake pictures, displaying ourselves as the proud kitchen goddesses we know ourselves to be?

 

And gods.  By no means do I intend to exclude the male bakers among us.  Seriously, we all wish there were more of you.

Cherri, if you need one, Big Lots usually has Bundt pans, I got one of mine there for I think $6, the nice basic traditional pan.  Bundt is awesome, it has all the benefits of cake with the advantage of that extra surface in the center for more icing ;)

made my Elvis Cake today (that's a "Veronica special")

Is it safe to assume that the Elvis cake includes bananas, peanut butter, and/or bacon?  Now I think I have to make a Bacon Bundt next year.  This year, though, it will be a Tiramisu Bundt.  Anybody else know what they're making yet? :D
