Can you do "boudoir" without lingerie? Advice/suggestions please

Hi everyone.  I'm going to be in a pinup contest this coming Saturday and one of the outfits is going to be boudoir.  Only thing is, they don't allow lingerie or anything sheer.  I'm thinking maybe a non-sheer baby doll or peignoir.  Does anybody have any suggestions or know of any good websites that would have something of a "boudoir" style that also fits a plumpie?  :)

Thanks!  btw, if you're in the Sac area, the contest is at Thunder Valley Casino.

wow.  I like figuring out costume challenges but that's a good one.  How about props?  Feather fans... jewelry, fringed scarves, feather boas, bath towel, mink stoles (buy 2 yards of fake fur, fake suede, or whatever fabric would work from fabric store, a curtain, legal-sized paper, a plant (large fern?)....

did you ever see the movie "Calendar Girls?"  they were very creative with garden props.  look around your house and see what you find.....  good luck, and I want to know how it goes!  :)

I've seen girls wear jeans and just cover their chest

I've also seen girls a man's shirt, military coat, etc., but with panties on.

another thought: early vaudeville photos just used interesting props (hand mirrors, fans) and nice fabrics that draped well.  I don't know if that would work for whatever era pinup they want.  I can only toss out some ideas.
A category for a pinup contest is "boudoir" really???

I have to wonder if, by their disallowing of lingerie, they aren't looking for more of a classic Hollywood glam version of "boudoir".  Have you considered something along these lines?

oooooh honey child! that's exactly what I was going to suggest! a long silky flowy dressing gown/robe. it will give you a chance to show some sexy leg but not look *too* revealing. I think that you would look FANTASTIC in a shoot like this, and I wold love love love to see it! <3 good luck!

Yeah, I'd just say nightwear would do.
I LOVE the movie "Calendar Girls!"  S'pose I could just walk the stage with a huge sunflower?  :)

yup.  "All entrants must choose one of the following two categories to model for onstage judging:

Miss Bathing Beauty:  swimwear

Miss Nightcap:  boudoir attire"

I'm loving the satin nightgowns.  I have a really pretty flyaway nightgownish thingie , but, alas it's sheer!
