Lipgloss Woes!!!

Hi Dolls!

 

So lately I have been having issues with lipgloss.  Have any of you ever gotten the dreaded crusty lip ring from lipgloss drying out your lips?  This has been happening to me every time I put on my usual lipgloss.  

 

So... I would love to find out some of your favorite lip glosses that don't dry out your lips!

I have a lipgloss obsession! I love stila and smashbox currently! Also I use a product called Skincare h20 lipmender hydrating complex under everything. It conditions really well and its sticky or clumpy feeling. Sephora also had a fun little coolection of like 6 different glosses that was fun to try a bunch of different brands.

The one cosmetic I actually wear on a daily basis ;)  I've been using Neutrogena Cooling Hydragel for years, I swear by it.  It's a bit thick, but the good news is you don't have to reapply it constantly.  Another great one I recently discovered is DHC Moisture Care, you can get it here.  And Palladio Herbal Gloss is good as well, I prefer to wear that one over lip color because it's not quite as thick, but it works well on its own as long as you don't mind reapplying a bit more frequently.  I get it at Sally Beauty but you can also buy it online.

MAC Lustreglass...... Ahhhmazing! It comes in a whole bunch of fabulous shades. I love 'Venetian'.

Dior, Smashbox, Makeup Forever, Carol's Daughter, Guerlain and Lipstick Queen are my faves. For something more affordable, NYX are a great brand. Comparable to MAC in terms of color range, but the glosses are a lighter consistency.

MAC... with glitter! I'm not big on gloss because I hate feeling like there is "goo" on my lips, but I love the MAC Dazzleglass.

I found it!!!  Out of all the expensive lip glosses i have tried, I have a new favorite that doesn't give me krusty lip ring...  Revlon ColorBurst...
