Tan line photos

Photographers? If a woman has a tan line and allows me to see it- which section of skin should I expose for? Does anyone have trouble with redheads fooling the light meter? It's like they glow in the dark, but my flash batteries last longer and they save money by not tanning, which means more dough for the ride, and the car too.

My short answer, balance for the section that shows most, likely that's to be the tan, maybe work the image to find a middle point in post.

I do have a bad habit of fooling the light meter, but it's usually due to my penchant for shiny sparkly things on costumes and sets

Meter for the tan line and adjust in Photoshop.
