Tattoos: If you had the money, the guts, and the absolute freedom, what would you have done?

I know most of us adorned with a tat or more have thought to themselves at least once: Man, that would make a badass tattoo! Whether its your currently favorite band album cover, an inspiration from a movie or book you've read, or just any random current interest you may have. While this may be so, most of us realize that it may not always be relevant, and perhaps even regrettable. BUT! Lets say you had the magical powers to be able to erase any tattoo in the blink of an eye, what would you get?
Me? Definitely the covers of The Birthday Massacre's albums as a half sleeve in a collage. Or perhaps a back piece of a John Tenniel Illustration from Alice in Wonderland. You know, the one with the Cheshire Cat in the tree?

i started covering my body with ink at 15
i would love to get alot of more shittier work removed but heard the process is unbearably painful

I'm getting all Greek Mythology on my arms, sides, and back. Then on my right leg I've got rockabilly and lyric inspired stuff, and my left leg portraits and such.

This is an amazing topic. I love tattoos. I'm currently waiting to get a peacock feather on my neck once i can get the cash. I also want some sort of old school camera somewhere. I can't wait.

There are LOTS of different ways to say "Tattoo" in japanese...but the traditional way is called Tebori (which is when they do it by hand) I actually have one on my left pelvis. It was P-P-PAINFUL!

I honestly just want to be covered in killer work. Sometimes I have an idea in mind and other times I don't. I'm kind of at the point in collecting tattoos that when I get tattooed by somebody it's because I like what they do, so in most cases I'll just ask them if they've had something that they've really been wanting to tattoo or I'll just tell them to come up with something. I get tattooed by them because I like what they do so when I give them the freedom to do just that I've never been disappointed.

In fact, I just booked an appointment to get my ribs started in November and I have no idea what it's going to be. I'm super excited to see what he comes up with though

I know this way of going about getting tattoos isn't for everybody, but that's what I like to do.

I already have 12 tattoos erm so far I have a star on my right forearm and my sisters name, I have a single helix/godsend symbol from Heroes on my left forearm I have a quarter sleeve of lillies and orchids on my right arm I have an anchor with roses and a harp on my left arm, I have red bows on the top back of my calves, I have shooting stars on my chest, hearts behind my right ear, writing on the back of my neck and a Red Dwarf logo on my hip.

I want a Tardis tattoo from Doctor Who on my left arm and I want my quarter sleeve extending along with alot of Studio Gibhli characters and a tribute to my favourite writer/director John Hughes (I'm thinking something to include The breakfast club, pretty in pink, weird science and ferris bueller)

lol where do I start I want to finish my left sleeve with a woman's ruin my way no booze, needle, or pills will be found in this piece. Finish my right arm sleeve with a pond filled with gold fish. my under arms with pin striped roses. on the back of my thighs I want sugar skulls with pin stripe above and below it. I would finish my disney leg ( right lower leg... that right thats what i call it the disney leg!) with peter, and wendy flying in the air, and on the calf of my leg a totem poll of lock, sock, n barrel. On my left side of my rib cage I want a black panther bc my grandfather was part of the black panthers, and on the right side I want in tag Brown Sugar ( it was my grandmothers alias RIP). lol i'm starting to sound like Veruca Salt! Also on my right thigh I want a peacock. Theirs lots more but this would be a long ass message.not to mention I'm already 23 tattoos into the game!

I'm getting my first tattoo the day after the day after tomorrow. Friday. Which is exciting... And slightly terrifying. I'm getting a bird cage, hehe.

Already planning more:
Pin up girl sleeve/leg piece
Some roses and daffodils on my foot or lower back.
The word "smile" on my inside lip.
Probably some script somewhere, perhaps, "There is an art to flying."
Some sort of chest piece/half sleeves.

Oh, so many choices! I swear I've forgotten some...

And if I had the money/guts/etc, I'd go for a back/leg piece of Pokemon. (My main source of escapism throughout my entire childhood to present day) But, that's gonna take a lot of thinking... It's been a big part of my life thus far, but am I gonna want a pikachu on my leg when I'm all grown up?
