Hey everyone!
Could someone tell me how to create yourself so wonderful waists?
What sport do you do?
And is there anything you eat or drink or whatever that's special?

Lol, oh I'm not brave at all and I'm rather lazy myself. The pilates your coach had you do seem hardcore! Since I'm a lazy girl I do low impact pilates, modify them (if they hurt), and only do at least an hours worth. Yay lazy girls!!

P.S. Where do you buy corsets or waist cinchers?

I swear by pilates! But I also switch off between belly dancing and pilates weekly. I've lost 4 inches and I'm so giddy about those results. But it's hard work!

I ran cross country in Jr. High, and our coach had us do Pilates three times weekly. You are a brave, brave woman. lol. I can't tolerate that kind of endurance. I'm lazy. =0}

I generally just do a series of twist crunches every day, and that does the trick for me. They also help to work the "love handle" region. =0] If you should chance to have a small child handy, "airplane" them often. My son is always eager to make me exercise. =0D
Also, I can never stress enough how magical of an exercise swimming really is. It's a work out that you don't actually have to work for. =0p
I've been slowly training my waist with steel boned corsets as well. I'd gotten down to 22" in the past, but then got lazy and stopped wearing corsets as often as I should have. I'm now at 24" when corseted, with a natural waist of 26". Almost back down to where I wanna be!
This is true, I am naturally blessed with an hourglass figure (39/27/40) - slightly bigger in the hips but my boobies are big enough for me, thanks! But gotta keep that waist trim to accentuate the curves!
Lots of good advice here I agree with - I like pilates belly dance and also the Argentine tango (lots of twisting) but the excercise that lost me the most inches off the waist is the 'trunk twist with a twist' = Stand with your feet at shoulder width appart and everything aligned in proper posture. Put a broom handle or walking cane or similar on your shoulders behind your neck, with hands holding either end. Then keeping your eyes facing forward the whole time - do not turn your head - twist just your upper body round to either side while pushing on the walking cane with both hands. You should feel the oblique muscles tighten. Move slowly and hold the tension on each rep , 20 a day will do it. Also remember that the tummy muscles are the easiest to tone but also the easiest to loose, so just holding them in when not excercising will help too. It doesnt matter how many situps or trunk twists you do if you spend the rest of the day slouched over a desk. For a narrower waist specifically you should hold the lower abbs in and up..visualise sucking in your lower tummy and tucking it up under your ribcage..so in and up. This will tighten the muscles without building them outwards.
As the other ladies said wearing corsets and cinchers helps too, as does colon cleansing (I prefer enemas to suppliments its quicker...I cant belive I just annouced that!!) and finally avoid fizzy drinks.
It works for me anyway, I am now an inch away my ideal measurment in just 6 months.
Belly dance is also fantastic! I love doing it more then pilates. I have anatural hour glass shape but do need some help to acentuate my waist. And belly dancing is fabulous.

Pilates, jogging and sit-ups should lead to success I lost 2 inches off of my waist in the last 2 months by increasing my water intake and am now a svelte 25inches!!!
GOOD LUCK!!!
i need to get back into pilates. after my second baby i toned my whole body and lost several inches around my stomach doing pilates 3x a week. my 3rd baby will be 2 next week and i am finally getting my butt into gear at the gym again, but i haven't made it back into a class. i've been hooping for over a year, but i honestly haven't seen any difference to my midsection, but it's fun, so i do it anyway.
Jive dancing has made my waist 2-3 inches smaller than when I was at the same weight in 2006. Something about the twisting motion that trims the waist.
Small meals, lots of water, and Swing Dancing!!!! (my Nana did swing dancing 3 times a week at her club)
