I have a problem with my make up ending up below my eyes. For example, my make up is fine when the movie starts, but once it's over, i look like a raccoon! My bottom eyeliner must bleed down and underneath my eyes. I always have to lick my finer and scrub off the black underneath. Am i making sense? Do you understand? haha, sorry.

So my concern is, am I just not allowed to wear make up on my lower lash lash line or what? Do you guys have this problem? How do you fix it? Thank you.

Use a decent primer on your eyes like Urban Decay 'Primer Potion' or TooFaced 'Shadow Insurance'. Apply this before you put on any eyeshadow and liner in all areas that the make up will be put - personally I put it from under my lower lashline right up to my brow bone. This will ensure that your make up will not smudge or crease or fall onto your face whilst enhancing the colour and pigmentation of the make up.

I hope that helped!
Yes, I actually do use Primer Potion by Urban Decay and it works wonderfully for my eyeshadow! But it stills smudges underneath, but I don't put the primer their, so I will try it.

Use a small about of baby powder after your finished with your makeup and blend it in.

Do you use liquid, powder or pencil? I've found that pencil smears and smudges worse then the others. One trick is to put some powder of the same color over the pencil, it tends to "set" it better. Or, have you tried Urban Decay 24 liner? It's really good, and seems to stay put better then any other pencil I've used.

Hope this helps a bit.
These are all really great suggestions!

I do have one to add. And though it seems a bit strange, it has always worked for me.

I find that all makeup in general tends to stay put much better after hairspraying. Yes, hairspray works. Now, I'm not suggesting just drenching your face in it, but if you mist it on from a distance (while holding your breath and closing your eyes of course) it tends to keep it in place for a longer amount of time. It's especially useful in sticky, sweaty situations, like if you are out at a crowded bar or in the heat for very long.

I hope this is useful.
Ahh Roxy! I love Urban Decay's 24/7 eyeliners too! I wear Bourbon and Zero all the time and am very tempted to try their other, more exotic colours!

I either use Urban Decay's Primer Potion or MAC shadestick. They both work pretty well except that the MAC product makes your shadow shade deepen and intensify.

I also stay away from using undereye moisturizer and mascara on my lower lashes to keep things from running.
You can always try She-Lac from Benefit. It's a potion that comes w/ a set of brushes that you can apply over anything. It makes you virtually weather proof.
Hmm.... one trick I plan to try once I begin burlesque performing is to apply false eyelashes to my lower lash line, circumventing the need for mascara down there. Just a thought.
