I'm embarrassed to admit this but recentely began to have break outs on my chest. My face and neck aren't too bad; an occasional blemish here and there around the time of my cycle. My chest on the other hand always has a break out, and it's right on my cleavage. I love wearing low cut tops and have had to avoid them. I've tried using the same products on my chest as I do on my neck, but nothing works. Does anyone have a suggestion?

Use Neutrogena acne fighting body soap in the shower, focus on the areas that have acne. DO NOT PICK AT THE ACNE OR TRY TO POP ANY OF THEM! you can get scars!

after you wash, put an acne ointment on them. There are tons of different kinds in drug stores, look for ones that have benzoyl peroxide.

Try to wear clothing that isn't too tight, and is made of natural fibers, like 100% cotton.

Neosporin works really well for acne if you don't have any acne products right now. It's what my dermo suggested. And Honey is right, don't pick. It can scar.

Thanks you guys. Yeah, they aren't bad enough that I feel the need to pick them. They're just little break outs, almost rash like (but I know they're not a rash). I'm pretty sure I can get everything at work tomorrow! Planning a shoot this week.

Ditto to all of the above, and you might also try a bit of powder, especially if the problem is around your cleavage, sweat and oil can irritate your skin in that area even when you don't really feel like you're sweating. Baby powder works really well, and it's cheap :)

I second the Neutrogena body wash. I use it and it helps alot. I go through this a few times a year. I also second the picking, it leaves a nasty scar, don't do it!

Feel free to laugh, but I have used toothpaste as a spot treatment! It works just as good as pimple cream. Only the white kind, though, not the gel. I had a little breakout on my chest just last week, and put a little dab of paste on them before I went to bed, by morning they were greatly reduced in size and redness.
