Steppin out alone....

OK, so yesterday i actually attended my first burlesque show! i went alone and it was GREAT!!! I didnt even invite anybody because i tend to get let down wen i do so i'd been plucking up the courage to go for WEEKS...

It was the Lucky 13s night at the Rocket Club in Birmingham and it was really good... perhaps my judgement is not so reliable becuase i was a first timer but it did giv a good insight into what goes on. Im impressed and even more so enthused abt burlesque and performing and all that good-time stuff. The only thing about going alone is that i had no1 to share the experience with... nor was anybody interested wen i got home but im telling u guys so thats good enuff!!

Id jus like to reitterate how proud of meself i am for going out alone, lol!! after spending so long waitin on somebody else to b interested i bit the bullet n stepped out and what a great way to do it!! next time i shall talk to some wonderful strangers i meet on my excursion and hopefully make some burly-frends, lol. but one step at a time eh!

I am so impressed by you going on your own! I'd see a lot more shows if I didn't depend on friends to accompany me. I should take a page from your book!
