Dear Diary...
Having handled all the necessary inconveniences such as a long train trip to Warsaw and back in sweltering heat and absolutely no air conditioning, I've become a happy owner of American Visa.
Soon afterwards I became an anxious owner of a there-and-back plane ticket to San Francisco! Anxious, cause I've never been on a 15 hours flight or alone abroad. As the date approaches, my knees feel weaker and weaker. It doesn't much matter that the flight is on 13'th of August - that date's never been unfortunate to me. But the flight is a very long one, with just one change of planes in Frankfurt - I think I'm gonna get square around the corners before I get off the plane!
Can't wait to squeeze my honey once I get there! Oh I'm sure we're going to have some wonderful time - and I'm going to take as many photos my little camera can hold. It's sure gonna be interesting to see that bit of America. I'm also secretively hoping to do some retro styled clothing!
If any of you darlings would be kind enough to mention several names of shops in San Francisco I'd be much obliged!

I'm planning to stay till November. If the immigration office allows that is.
