One of my cats get me worried - real worried. I know she has a strange habit of eating very little in the summer time but this summer she got me real worried. You should see how thin she's getting! Some friends of mine try to comfort me by saying it's the change of fur that makes her look so thin but I can see better it's not. Her sister is SO big, fluffy and heavy - and this poor little darling is starting to resemble an anorectic Siamese [she's not a Siamese - just her facial features somehow turn that way].

I can't really take her to the vet cause she takes it so very bad it breaks my heart when I see her so frightened. She always know when I'm on a mission to catch her and take to the doctors - and she's not cooperating! Some might say that it will be more heartbreaking if she gets real sick cause I didn't take her to the vet. I guess you'd have a point there. My mum and I took her to the vet one year when she got so thin too - but she was okay. She's just very much dominated by her cat sister. I do what I can to comfort her and even assist her while she eats to make sure her sister doesn't shoo her away or get the best/ most of the food. But I'm to leave soon and I don't know how she's gonna take it. Well, the cat's never been too enthusiastic about my returns when I was gone so perhaps she won't get to notice my being gone so much. We'll see.
