Ballet. Although I havent taken classes in a few years and its starting to show. But that put my body in the best shape ever.
Wii Fit. I love that thing! I'm TERRIBLE at working out, and would love to do it more, but when I can't get into the gym the wii fit works just fine.
There is no such thing as the "perfect" body...just a healthy body. All you can do is eat well and exercise. There is no ideal body, everyone is different. Too bad that's not the view of most people today. It's such a waste of time trying to fit into a size zero or whatever when you were never meant to.

When I am consistent about working out, which is most of the time, I do 60 minutes of cardio most days of the week. I've had weight related health concerns so I have found that it really is the best way to keep the body in the best shape is to do at least some cardiovascular exercise most days of the week even if it's just walking. As far as diet is concerned, I am totally about everything in moderation. I wonder if the girl who writes this blog is here on PL.

Since I am the mother of a VERY active 1 and a half year old, I've found it's hard to always get in that 30-60 minutes of working out time to myself, even with my hubby's help. And fast-food drive thru's are quite tempting... So if any of you are in my boat, what I try to do is keep my child involved- putting on the iPod and just dancing around, but secretly throwing in some squats and lunges... hey, they don't notice! To them you're just dancing... or pushing him around the block in his stroller. To fight off fast food I keep healthy snacks in my oversized purse, diaper bag, or compartments in the car. I have banned "excuses". It's been hard for me, I am a self proclaimed Taco Bell junkie (there is no more satisfying fix than a 1 a.m. chalupa!! Maybe that's why I gained 51 pounds when I was pregnant!!) but it's been easier having a few tricks. And the $5 I save from no Taco Bell goes into my son's piggy bank! :)
You ladies just got me thinking about the Wii thing when one of you mentioned it. My situation is that I don't have any babies or children to care for at home yet and I work full time plus go to a private university with an accelerated learning format and I found that I get lazy if I don't plan it. I go first thing in the morning before work.
Now I am split from my husband (we are childhood best friends and that just does not work sometimes) but we are very close friends still. He has a very sedintary job in IT and he has just packed on the weight over the years. When he comes home from work at night, it's onto the sofa in front of the TV or to the computer to play games he goes!! I worry about him. Maybe for the holidays I should get him one of those Wii?? Maybe it would interest him since it's a computer type of thing? He can't go to gym with me I got to an all women gym. I personally don't think I would use a Wii but maybe I would like it. He never was interested in going with me to gym anyway even when we had a co ed membership years ago. What do you ladies think? I know they are expensive. I'm going to Target to price them today after work.
