What creative phrase would you use to describe your style?
I have a house wife look and a bombshell attitude!
Tell us a little about yourself! (details or get declined)
I've always loved everything vintage and classic. My love of pin-up really started with the music. I grew up listening to my mom and abuleo's old music and records. Then I fell in love with look and fashion of the times. Slowly everything just felt perfect for me.

I grew up in a very family oriented house and well the cars and the kitchen were the two places that my family gathered around. My passion though is greatest in the kitchen. I love to cook!!! If I see it and taste it I can most likely figure a way to make it. I mostly do baking now and I've fallen in love with desserts and pastry art.

How does pin-up and retro lifestyle fall into play you say? well My abuelo (grandpa in Spanish) used to always bring home theses amazing burgers from this great little diner. well ever since then I've dreamed of one day opening my own retro diner. I want it to be a real authentic diner wich now a days are few and far. well I hope you like what you've read so stop by and drop me a line!

Feeling ill

I'm not the girl that looks like barbie but I've never had any serious health problems. I'm a curvaceous beauty with a great bill of health. Recently though I've been feeling ill. I was getting dizzy spells and head aches. Some people were saying its just stress from work. I eat well enough and go to the gym twice a week so I thought they were right. On Feb. 28th I collapsed at work and got sent home, the next day I went to the doctor. She asked a bunch of questions and did tons of test on me.… Continue

Room Update

Well as some of you know I've been renovating my bedroom with a modern alice in wonderland theme. Unfortunately I've gott a very tigh bugget and my camara is out of order for the moment. I want to thank everyone who gave me suggestions on what little details would look good and go with the wonderland theme. I made a computerized moch up of my room and place similar items in it to give you all a good Idea of what I have in mind for the finished project.

Room renovation

This past year I grew up alot. I've been through so much and well everything in my life just seems to be falling into place now. Everything that is except my room. I have a very sweet and teder little girl looking room. I love it regardless but I think its time my room got a revamp to reflect me. I currently have plain white walls with pastel purple doors and triming and none of my furniture goes together.

Both are in process. The black one is a 1989 Toyota MR2 Frankenstein. It has a mid 90s 4AGE engine with 5 valves per cyl Variable valve timing and 11:1 compression and 6 PSI boost on top of that. I built the intake which has an integrated water to air intercooler, I also built the stainless steel header and turbo back exhaust. The engine and trans are coated with a heat dissipation ceramic coating which is very hard. I am currently building a Megasquirt ECU for it which is a cheap DIY aftermarket engine management and it should allow me to get a bit more out of the setup.

They are quite the contrast to each other. The MR2 is pushing the limits of performance and technology.

The other is a 55 Studebaker President. It had sat for a very long time before I got it. So far I have rebuilt the carbs and fuel pump, and done a bunch of tune up and revival work on it. The engine is very strong but the car still needs a good bit of attention. As it is it pulls strong and is a blast to drive around. I have a little more I need to do on electrical and mechanical and then I will be tackling the rust spots on the body.

indeed. I saw a show on tv where they were restoring a big queen anne victorian house. they tore out all the crap that someone tried to "modernize" it with and restored it to it's original grandeur. then they had these appliances that were brand new, but they looked just like the wood heated stovetops and ovens of the late 1800s. wild eh?
