Room renovation

This past year I grew up alot. I've been through so much and well everything in my life just seems to be falling into place now. Everything that is except my room. I have a very sweet and teder little girl looking room. I love it regardless but I think its time my room got a revamp to reflect me. I currently have plain white walls with pastel purple doors and triming and none of my furniture goes together.

I've always loved disney (its the inocent 5 year old in me) and my all time favorite movie would have to be Alice in wonderland. I've seen all the movies related to alice the white rabbit and all the other amusing characters. I also have the original stories by Luis Carol. I've been thinking of transforming my room with a modern yet fun A.I.W. theme.

Unfortunately I'm not the greatest designer so I've asked for assistance in a disscution here on PL. I've got great feed back already. So please give me a hand and check out my disscution and leave me with a few good ideas. Thanks and lots of love!

oh.. maybe you could paint all your furniture the same color..like white, paint out the door too, then use blk and wht wall paper or get some A I W prints made up but blk and white...frame them, Then select a complement colour (one or two) use these for the frames..trow pillows...lamps etc.
I would use a neutral colour on the walls and have blk and wht prints...use tspashes of your fav coluor for accents.

if you have alot of collectibles maybe try to group them together in one spot inside a display case or shelf..this would cut down on clutter and easier to dust.

i had the same problem, love Betty boop, felix etc, but when i moved in with my boyfriend had to slim down on the dodades..
