What are some of the acronyms that I should be aware of?

For instance "TFP"...I'm guessing Trade For Photos? What other acronyms will help decypher posts and aid in searching the community.

Technically its Time for Prints, a barter, you give your time, they give you prints. These days its evolved to TFCD. you guessed it, you get a CD with the digital photos =) There are more, I will grab my list that I used to give new models working their way into the automotive modeling industry thru my site.


TFE is also a valid one in vendor expo type settings. You give your time, we give you exposure. This is for booth babes etc...

My favorite is
GWC=Guy with camera (you know, the dudes that don't care about a quality shot they just want to take pictures of pretty girls in lingerie). By NO means does this pertain to ALL male photographers! If you are a GWC you know who you are! (They can also be the ones that don't want you to bring an escort to the shoot and also whom I will never work with).
