modeling advice...

I really want to become a pinup model. What is that first step? I need some advice/help.

You've come to the right place! We are the #1 pinup site on the web and a great place to start networking. Spend some time reading the Model section of this forum, there are a ton of threads about getting started in modeling with some great information.

I first got into it when a friend asked me to model for her college photography report, so I got my toe in the door that way - maybe ask around your local art college/school for any projects?

Other than that its just get networking! This site is fab for networking fellow minded people, so get some photos taken (you'll probably have to pay for these unless you can get some freebies for your time) and get your face out there!

Hi there! Best of luck with it! Just wanted to give some tips: 

Don't wait for someone else to say "You MUST be my pin up model!!!" - if you like it, start learning how to style yourself (youtube and videos here are awesome for tutorials on every aspect), start collecting a few items that you can use for a photo shoot, try to make a friend who is into some aspect of it be it photography, makeup, modeling... and then just practice for fun! This way, if you DO pay for a shoot, you'll be comfortable and ready.
