Where can I get a starter pinstriping kit?

My hubby has the "itch" to get into pinstriping BUT we need an AFFORDABLE start-up kit. I am completely clueless when it comes to this so I need your help!! If anyone knows anything or has any advice for him, please let me know! Thanks so much =)

not for a starter kit.. i have NEVER seen one!... most pinstripers have a tool kit and a few "one shot" colors, a few brushes (which are a HUGE PRICE $30-70) cleaning tools, and business cards,,,
when i met my boyfriend he had "lent his" to a friend, and that friend would not give it back (in fact when i met my BF, i was dating the oter guy too... the other guy said it was his, HE LIED!!!)

my BF'S father is a pinstriper too... and his kit is from a collection over the years....
other pinsriper friends have the same kit for YEARS...

i have tryed online to look for a new kit for my boyfriend but i havent found anything...

Easy... Order a dagger brush #00 and then a can or two of One Shot ( standard ) stripping paint and some Mineral spirits ............. Super cheap way to go..... any Auto paint stre should carry it or order online at
CoastAirbrush.com...... good luck

There are not any real starter kits.... you just have to buy a brush and paint ( one shot Lettering ) and mineral spirits to clean and thin out....

Thanks everyone for the advice. We checked out Coast last night and they have some great stuff. Now it is time to SAVE some money so he can get the supplies. I told him if he does start this pinstriping thing, he better stick with it. The supplies aren't cheap so he better learn to be good at it, lol. Hopefully he will be a master haha!

Pinstripping takes time to learn.... I play with it from time to time when I paint bicycles or helmets. All I can say is Practice !!!

He spends a lot of time in the garage anyways so he will have time to practice. He will just have to take time away from our 'rods to practice the pinstriping. I am sure he will still find time for both haha! Now he will just have to work on his patience..not his strongest suit.
