"We Are The New Vintage"
If this is already up somewhere and I never noticed, please excuse me for being dense (and relatively blind, apparently)!
I'm having some difficulty rolling (victory rolls, suicide rolls, etc) my waist length hair. I can do a sort of messy, unkept roll using a toilet paper roll to shape it (recycling, yeah!), but I'd like them to look a little neater and not have them slip out as easily. I know I'm basically walking on a thin ledge in difficulty here, but is there anyone with experience here in it with some tips?
Lots of love! xox

I'm so excited that someone else with really long hair is looking for help, too! Not helpful, I know, but we can commiserate.
My hair is a little shorter than yours--about half way down my back. I've been using foam roll things (about $2 at beauty stores). They work well if you want something that won't slip out. My only (minor) issue is sometimes having to hide the roll by moving some hair in front of it.
Check out you tube for tutorials for long hair. There are quite a few. Here is one (her hair isn't as long as yours) but she has a good trick where she "folds" her hair.
Fabulous tips! I tried to turn to Youtube, but their idea of long hair seems to be shoulder length. The folding idea seems like a good idea though! I'll go to Sally's to see if they have foam rolls. xo
