I have been terribly remiss in updating the Guest Pinup page on my website. For those of you not familiar with it, it's a special section we've devoted to showcasing pinups who are involved in charitable/service organizations.

Part of the rich tradition of pinup is supporting good causes. So, we're going to have a pinup contest focusing on that. And on St. Patrick's Day stuff. Because themes and holidays are fun.

WHAT YOU'LL WIN
Poetic Pinup will make a $25 donation to the charity of the winning image. In addition, the top three contestants will each have a page in the Guest Pinups section of the Poetic Pinup website dedicated to them and their cause.

THE RULES
1- Your image must be pinup-themed. That does not mean strictly traditional cheesecake, just no random headshots, Halloween photos, etc.
2- Your image must contain something green. This is a St. Patrick's Day contest, after all. You don't have to be dressed like a leprechaun, just show us something green.
3- Your image must be Facebook-friendly.

HOW TO SUBMIT
Email your image, along with the name of the charity/organization you support, a link to that charity's website and a brief statement about why you support it, to submissions [at] poeticpinup.com. Models, photographers, and artists are welcome to enter. Entries will be accepted until February 29th.

HOW TO WIN
Once all the entries have been received, we will create an album on our Facebook page with the images and information about the charities. Send your friends and fans over to vote for you. They will need to Like our page, then Like your image. Voting will begin on March 1, and end on March 16th.

On March 17th, we will announce the three winners. Unless I'm too hammered on green beer, in which case we'll do it on the 18th. Those of you familiar with my wild urban lifestyle know very well... that we'll be announcing the winners on the 17th.
