"We Are The New Vintage"
Hey Guys,
Another question from a newbie here, but you all always have such awesome tips!
I will possibly be doing a photo shoot this weekend, my first professional one, and hair and makeup will be provided. My question is, what would be the best way to style my hair for this shoot? I am asking this because I have medium thick hair with a wave to it (and frizz!), and wondered rather I should lend the hairstylist a hand by straightening or curling it before hand. Any thoughts?
Thanks in advance for your always helpful answers!

The best thing to do is email the stylist and ask. Everyone is different; some like clean hair, some one day dirty, some straight, some in rollers. Just hit her up and ask.
Good to know, Thanks =)!

No product. No product. No product. Seriously, a pro will want clean hair with nothing on it.
Good tip, I might have put some frizz cream or something if I didn't know any better!

Unless they don't. I've worked with many stylists, all pros, who DO want a little product, or day old "dirty". Like I said, everyone is different, it's best to ask each individual.

Roxy,
I realized that I was speaking out of context. My experience has more to do with organizing a large cast of actresses, dancers or models and not the one on one situation you are talking about.
Sure, if you have contact info for the hair and make up artist, ask first.
