Oh I loved every bit of this! I used to work in one of the major casinos in Vegas and I don't know how many of these photos I have actually watched live in front of my face. But like a couple of the girls said... MAN will wait and deal just to get to that end of the date!

I love stuff like this.  The tips for the most part still ring true although the writing is super sexist.  Not just the way they refer to the ladies either.  Poor man is expected to hang out with a quiet somewhat boring girl.  I used to have a book for 1951 called "Date Data" it was similar to this but, aimed at a high school crowd.  Just the illustrations were priceless to me.  We have come a long way.

The second pic had me doing a second take... "what's wrong with this picture"? For a fraction of a sec had me believing this was all photographed in today's day and we were all being fooled. I could swear she's holding a Blackberry! Need I say more? Without a doubt, solely for the reason the bombardment of modern technology and the preoccupation of it in the wrongest of moments, it may be a great idea to write a new, modern set of "Miss & Mr. Manners Visual Guide". I know all you wonderful pin ups and photographers here on PL could come up with an amazing update! If only we can get the Bieb generation to listen... maybe in the form of an app?

I love this, especially his facial expressions. I think for the most part I stick to these rules...except for the first one. It never fails anytime my beau and I have plans Im always running late and he ends up having to sit and watch me figure out what to wear, do my make up, pick out shoes, pick accessories, change shoes, switch purses, fix hair, change shoes again, find my keys, and so on lol. And Im pretty sure I've seen him make some of those faces at me too! haha!

Along with the fact that Man needs his rear view mirror I am particularly fond of the Don't pass out instruction. The attitude is very dumbing, but a nod to modern day manners may be long over do, and I do love a picture story! Redux on these tried basics? Abs-O-lutely Jack! ; )

Yes, some of then are ok. Some of the are awful- "only talk about what Man wants to talk about" etc lol. The main point is that they are good tips for men and women, its not just for women to do all the work. That said, I think many would find someone who was so polite quite dull.
