"We Are The New Vintage"
Hi Y'all! I recently dyed my red hair black and am unsure what shade to fill in my light eyebrows... I think black will be a bit too harsh on my fair/pinkish skin tone.
Thoughts?

I also changed my hair color from red back to black a while ago. I think it suits me the best....anyhow, I use dark brown, brownish black, or soft black on my eyebrows depending on the look I'm going for with the makeup, hair and if I'm wearing glasses or not that day. Try going with a brownish black first and if it's too dark go to a dark brown or if it's too light go to a soft black. The color you choose could have different effects with different hair styles and makeup looks. I actually use mascara instead of liner usually for a more natural, less painted brow look plus I have problems with my eyebrows getting wild throughout the day and the mascara will hold them where they need to be, LOL. I use a soft black mascara for this, which actually in the tube looks more brown than black to me, but just slightly darkens, fills in, and defines the brows when it is on. It's subtle and that's what I go for usually. Play around until you find something that works the best for your personal look! Good Luck! :)
I would never have thought to try mascara. Thanks for the tips! :)
I agree with Spottie, when my hair was black I used dark brown for everyday and soft black for going out. For photo shoots and more dramatic looks I went with true black. It's always good to have a variety colors on your arsenal!
I dunno if this will help, but my eyebrows are a deep brown but i still wanted them to be more black. I use eyeshadow to make them look more natural and filled. Maybe browns, but I agree with everyone on the suggestion of using a soft black.
