Variations of the Cat-Eye(liner)

Maybe someone already asked this and I just missed it, but are there any tips or tricks to getting the cat eye look even for both sides. Whenever I do it I end up with one eye that is a perfect match to what I was trying for, but the other eye while close is just not the same. I keep practicing but if there are helpful tips or tricks it would help a lot.

I usually do the bottom right but I love the top right too! Nice post :)

The problem with getting perfectly even eyes is the fact that we're all one side dominant. My Right eye usually comes out better than my left!

 

The best way to get your perfect eyes is to practice, practice, practice! I know it sounds like a lame suggestion, but it's what will work! OR you could learn to be ambidextrous- that way each eye will be perfect! ;)

I know it sounds gross, but It helps to use q-tips (sorry for the name brand association) that are slightly moistened with spit.  Not drooled on.  That way one can clean up and sharpen the line.  I've tried it with water, but it doesn't work quite as well. 

 

I love the bottom left style.  I'm going to have to give it a whirl.

I do mine like on the bottom right, but without the liner on the lower lids.  Nice and subtle for lil ol me!

i'm awful at doing the cat eye...i saw someone use a butter knife to help shape the angle of the cat eye and i've been doing that....although you get some crazy looks pulling out a butter knife from your makeup bag.

Bottom left for me. I use the artliner from Lancome. It's like 29 bucks, but SO WORTH IT. Most precise application ever, plus it lasts about 4-6 months.

For me it all depends on the look/outfit I have on for the day. I vary between the middle & last top, and the last bottom. But primarily I tend to use the last top.

the hardest part for me is getting both identical, i usually only lay it on thick when im going somewhere, otherwise the top middle and bottom left are my go to cat eyes
