Weddings and Tattoos

My step sister recently got engaged and is planning an wedding for January. Shes running into a few problems. As much as she loves her tattoos, she doesn't want them to compete with the dress. She has full back, half sleeves, chest and neck tattoos - so she is looking for a dress with lace or a jacket to be attached. But she doesn't want to sacrifice all of her personality and style. She also isn't being very well received at bridal shops when she goes to try things on... Any tips, suggestions or ideas? Also, any tips for the maid of honor on a rockin dress? ;)

has she considered possibly airbrushing out the ink?  for the cermony maybe, and if it comes off at the reciption so be it

If she has that many tattoos, it may be hard to cover all of them, but she can certainly cover most. There are some really great wedding dress styles here. Good luck to her!

There are some good tat cover up makeup kits out there, but that's a lot to cover up. Bridal shops are uppity to gals who they think won't fork over the moola. Been there, done that. Does she have a theme? My advice for bridesmaids dresses is don't go through a bridal shop. There are so many gorgeous dresses out there now and you don't have to sell your soul to afford em! Blessed be!

@hellz kittehn she doesnt have a theme yet (that I know of) but she loves an older look, Edwardian to Victorian so I think she is hoping to find something that reminds her of that.
