Opinions on Vivien of Holloway.

hi there my lovely PL World! By chance, has anyone used Vivien of Holloway? i saw so many things that i absolutely love but it looks to be in currency for of pounds (L with the squiggly line) and im not sure how many 'pounds' equal an america dollar - so i want to be sure of what i am paying. any ideas or opinions?

I just got a top from em but it was too big... apparently i lost 3 inches off my waist since i last checked... oops!!

 

but the top was very well made and if it had fit it would have been very flattering!

I own 3 dresses, 2 shrugs, and a hater top. The quality is very good, although the satin dress is not lined. everything fits very well, is made of nice fabric, and has no hanging seems or problems.

 

I had 2 issues with my stuff, the first was that the satin dress did not come with a cleaning instructions tag, so my dry cleaner refused to take it. The second was that my halter top was very short. It came to the top of my belly button, and that is quite a bit shorter then I like my tops.

 

All in all I think they are a good company, with good products. But I'm not 100% sure they were worth what I payed for them.

@Roxy the bodys are super short in their halternecks! But its because its a 50's pattern and meant to be worn with their highwaisted bottoms apparently... i asked them before buying as i thought it looked a little on the short side.

 

IMHO i think for the money over here they're well worth it, but the translation into dollars is super high! That  why i love buying from the US because things are practically half price.
