'50s Pinup Contest this Weekend - What to expect? What to wear? Please help!

Hi folks,

There is a pinup contest this weekend that is a part of a Ride-for-Life charity event. All I know is that it is a 50s style pinup contest. I have NO idea what to wear or expect. Can y'all please help me? I sure would appreciate it.

I reenact Betty Grable, so I usually do Betty Grable hair and makeup. Should I make any changes?

My favorite pinup outfit is this USMC outfit, but would it be too racey for 50s?

 

 

I also have a little sailor suit. Thoughts?

I really like your look on the second picture, your sailor suit is adorable, love your curves in it!! 

I say you should recreate this look, but I never been to a Pin Up contest before,

so I don't other tips or recommendation.

Thanks. Turns out this is a fundraiser for a Vietnam Navy vet, so sailor seems to be the way to go. Except will maybe change the hair so i can wear a sailor hat. Hmmm...
