Help picking an outfit for an upcomming outdoor photo shoot

Hello all!

I wanted to ask your help in picking an outfit for an upcomming outdoor park photo shoot I am doing on wednesday. Its my first photo shoot ever and its both to build my portfolio and help out a photographer friends with hers.

The choices:

-A dusty beige and black lace pencil skirt with black belt around waist, Ruffled sleeve top (this one feels more casual and best suits the enviorment of the park, but the top fits a bit loose at times)

- A black skirted and pink top secretary dress. This one fits nice but I feel might be a bit too dressy for a park scene.

 

Any advice would be greatly apperciated. Thank you for your help =)

With the loose fitting top, can you temporarily pin it to better fit you for the shoot?

Maybe go with a "secretary at lunch in the park" theme and take a brown bag lunch with you. Nice red lipstick and a green Apple would make a nice contrast. You would be too dress but still have a reason to be in the park. Good Luck!

Buttercup- I am not too skilled with alterations, so I don't think I could figure that out myself...

 

Secretary at the park does sound fun to do! I needed some ideas too of exactly what kinda poses and stuff to do...

 

I might end up just taking them both with me and changing if I need to. Nothing wrong with that, right? Just seeing where the photoshoot leads and what ends up looking best...

Oh, but I forgot to say just so no one is guessing: I'm going with the black and pink dress and bringing the pencil skirt just in case! Just so no one is hanging off the edge of their seat lol.
